Chief of Staff
Originally from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, Dr. Consiglio, our Chief of Staff, received an undergraduate degree in business administration from Providence College, a bachelor's in biology from Assumption College and an associate’s degree in veterinary technology from Becker College. She then worked for several years in pathology at both Harvard Medical School and University of Washington before deciding that veterinary medicine was her true calling. Dr. Consiglio obtained her DVM from St. George's University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Prior to joining the staff at West Shore Animal Clinic in 2006, Dr. Consiglio worked as a general practitioner in New York state.
Professionally, Dr. Consiglio enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, with a special interest in dermatology and tick borne disease. When not working, she loves the beach. And if her toes are not in the sand, then she is gardening, baking, or finding woods to hike. She resides on a farm in Massachusetts with her Boston Terrier Albert and her black cats: Loki, Nyx,River of Babylon and Gateaux and a retired Marine named Peter.
