Kathryn Proulx, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Kathryn Proulx is a born and bred Rhode Islander. A graduate of Tiverton High School in Tiverton, Rhode Island, Dr. Proulx received an undergraduate degree in 2010 from the University of Rhode Island where she expanded her undergraduate education with a year abroad traveling in Australia. She returned home and worked at New Hampshire’s Clark Trading Post for a bit before continuing on to veterinary medicine.
Dr. Proulx obtained her DVM from Ross University, School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and completed a one-year rotation at Colorado State University. Prior to joining the staff at West Shore Animal Clinic in 2015, Dr. Proulx interned at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists.
When she’s away from the clinic, she loves spending time out on the bay boating with her family or finding the best IPA in Rhode Island. She currently lives in Tiverton with her husband Chris, their children, Owen and Emma, Olive the golden retriever, and her cats Owki, Gracie, Murray, and Pepper.
